Nina Kirkvaag

Nina Kirkvaag has a diverse work experience that includes roles in risk management, consulting, and internships. Nina is currently working at Maersk Tankers as the Head of Risk, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Risk Manager at the same company from April 2021 to September 2021. Nina also has experience as a Quantitative Risk Analyst at Maersk Tankers from September 2019 to April 2021. Before joining Maersk Tankers, Nina worked as a Management Consultant at QVARTZ from September 2017 to August 2019. Nina also worked at Maersk Tankers as a Master Thesis Student in 2017 and interned at A.T. Kearney in 2016.

Nina Kirkvaag has a diverse educational background. Nina completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Mathematical Modelling and Computation at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, in 2014, they had a half-year exchange at Nanyang Technological University Singapore, pursuing Mathematics and Computer Science at the BSc level. Nina also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematical and Modelling Engineering from Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Toulouse, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015. Furthermore, Nina obtained their Baccalauréat Scientifique - Spécialité Mathématiques from Lycee Edouard Herriot Lyon between 2009 and 2012, which covered subjects such as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Philosophy, French, and English. In addition to their academic qualifications, Nina Kirkvaag has obtained the CFA level 1 certification from the CFA Institute, and they are currently working towards completing their CFA level 2 certification.
