Christos Stavrou has worked in a variety of positions since 1999. Christos started their career as a Second Lieutenant in the Cyprus National Guard in 1999. In 2007, they moved into education, taking a position as a Teacher of Science (Physics) at St. Martin's School. In 2011, they moved to Imperial College London to pursue a PhD in Plasma Physics, while also taking a position as a Teacher of Science (Physics) at Haydon School. In 2016, they became a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Joint European Torus (JET) at Aalto University. In 2018, they took a role as a Divertor Physicist at Tokamak Energy Ltd. In 2019, they became a Visiting Academic at Imperial College London and Chief Executive Officer at Fusion Reactors. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Head of Numerical Physics at Magdrive.
