Beverly Ponder has over 40 years of work experience. Beverly began their career in 1980 as a Medical Transcriptionist/Clerk - Health Information at Covington County Hospital. In 1987, they moved to Covington County Tax Assessor as a Clerk. In 1990, they returned to Covington County Hospital and served in three roles: Human Resources Director, Executive Assistant, and Assistant Director Health Information. In 2021, they became the Human Resources Director at Magee General Hospital.
Beverly Ponder has attended Jones College. Beverly has also obtained the Registered Health Information Technician certification from the American Health Information Management Association and the Essentials of Human Resource Management Professional Certificate from The University of Southern Mississippi.
