Lavern Mayo-Jones

Lavern Mayo-Jones, DHA, LPC, NCC, has extensive experience in the field of behavioral health care management, currently serving as Manager of Clinical Care Services at Magellan Health since January 2014. Previously held roles include Lead Care Manager and Behavioral Health Care Manager at the same organization. Lavern's earlier experience includes working as an Adult Mental Health Clinician II and Clinical Evaluator at Richmond Behavioral Health from January 2005 to December 2013, along with positions as PACT Lead Clinician and PACT Case Manager. Prior to that, Lavern worked as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor at Goochland Powhatan Community Services. Academically, Lavern holds a Bachelor of Science in General Psychology from Old Dominion University, a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Doctor of Healthcare Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg.
