Johannes Achter

Johannes Achter has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Johannes began their career at Siemens Austria as a Software Development IN Services from February 1994 to July 1997. Johannes then joined max.mobil. in August 1997 as a Project Manager IN Services. In March 1999, they moved to T-Mobile Austria and served as the Head of UMTS and Data Services. In August 2003, they joined T-Mobile International as the Head of International Standardization Access Fora. In June 2009, they joined Deutsche Telekom as the Vice President International Standardization. In March 2017, they became the Vice Chairman of 3GPP TSG CT until March 2021. Overall, Johannes Achter has held various leadership roles in international standardization, project management, and software development throughout their career.
