Tanja Sourek

Tanja Sourek has a diverse work experience in the field of marketing and communications. Tanja currently holds the position of Vice President Brand & Marketing Communication at Magenta Telekom since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Marketing Director at bank99 from August 2019 to December 2020. Tanja also worked at A1 Telekom Austria AG where they held the role of Head of Marketing and Sales for A1now TV from December 2017 to July 2019. Earlier in their career, Tanja held various marketing and communications roles at media.at, A1 Telekom Austria AG, Telekom Austria AG, Telekom Austria, OMV, and Mobilkom Austria. Their responsibilities during these roles included brand management, advertising, digital communication, social media, content marketing, direct marketing, sales communication, media planning, events, and corporate identity.

Tanja Sourek started their education in 1990 at the Kolleg für Grafik und Design, HTL Linz, where they obtained a degree as Magistra in Werbegrafik und Design in 1992. From 1992 to 1997, they attended Uni Salzburg, pursuing a degree in Kommunikationswissenschaft. In 1995, they briefly studied Communications at Leeds Beckett University. After completing their studies, Tanja obtained an additional certification, Mag. phil., from Universität Salzburg in June 1998.
