Michael Walker Phr

Michael Walker, PHR, MBA, has an extensive background in franchise ownership and operation. Currently, they serve as the Franchisee and Operator of a Smashburger location in Lehi, Utah, where they have achieved significant sales growth year after year. In addition, Michael is the Franchisee and Owner of all Smashburger locations in the state of Utah, with plans to expand by building at least five more locations in the coming years. Prior to their work with Smashburger, Michael held a position as the Director of Human Resources at Maggie Sottero Designs. Furthermore, they are set to embark on a new venture as the Franchisee and Operator of five upcoming Fazoli's locations across the Salt Lake Valley, covering a vast area from Utah County to Weber County.

Michael Walker obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2007 to 2009. Michael later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from MTSU from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their academic qualifications, Michael obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in March 2023.
