Fabian Bolte

Fabian Bolte is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong academic background in computer science, holding a PhD from the University of Bergen, an MS from Technische Universität Chemnitz, and a BS also from Technische Universität Chemnitz. Currently serving as a Lead Software Engineer at Magic Leap since April 2021, Fabian has previously held roles such as Senior Software Engineer within the same company. Prior to Magic Leap, significant contributions as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Bergen included the development of major web applications for data visualization and innovative data analysis methods. Other notable experiences include software engineering positions at TKI GmbH, where a geo-spatial map for customer information was developed, and at the Clinic for Ophthalmology, where a requirements analysis was conducted for age-related macular degeneration research and contributions were made to an open-source project presented at a conference.
