Aleksandr Gaidai

Aleksandr Gaidai has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Aleksandr currently holds the position of VP of Engineering at Magic Square, a role they started in September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Yandex.Money where they held various roles, including Head of QA from July 2020, and Head of Server-side Development from July 2018 to July 2020.

Before Yandex.Money, Gaidai was employed at ClearScale as a Development Director from April 2016 to May 2018. Aleksandr also served as a Software Development Project Manager at Next Media Group from an unknown month in 2008 to April 2016.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Software Development Project Manager at SM Group from 2006 to 2008, as a Software Development Team Leader at Strategic IT from 2005 to 2006, and as a Software Developer & Team leader at Bacup IT from 2001 to 2005.

Aleksandr Gaidai attended Novokuznetsk, school 11 from 1986 to 1990. After completing their studies at school 11, they proceeded to attend Novokuznetsk, school 44 from 1991 to 1996. At Novosibirsk State University (NSU), Aleksandr pursued their Master's / Specialist degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from 1996 to 2001. In addition to their educational background, Aleksandr obtained a PMP certification from the PMI in April 2013.
