Matthew Rowles

Matthew Rowles has a diverse work history in software engineering.

Matthew began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at CASR, where they worked from July 2007 to January 2011.

From there, they co-founded Zenith Designs, a boutique digital solutions company, where they served as a Software Engineer and Co-founder from October 2009 to May 2012.

Matthew then joined Macquarie Group as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2011 to January 2015, where they played a role in rebuilding and redesigning the Macquarie.com website.

Matthew later became the Head of Engineering at MotoMe, an online car-buying platform, from January 2015 to May 2019.

After that, Matthew held the position of Head of Engineering at Macquarie Group from May 2019 to February 2020, overseeing consumer-facing digital banking product teams.

Matthew then joined Devika as a Lead Software Engineer from February 2020 to October 2021, where they led a team and worked on various startup and scaleup projects.

Following that, Matthew worked at Remote Social as a Founding Software Engineer from October 2021 to June 2022.

Matthew then joined Swyftx as a Staff Software Engineer from June 2022 to June 2023.

Currently, Matthew is working as a Lead Software Engineer at MagicBrief, starting from June 2023.
