Nicolas Loya

Nicolas Loya has had a diverse range of work experience. Nicolas started their career as a Transportation Coordinator at Neon Desert Music Festival in 2013. Nicolas then worked as a Sales Associate at Whole Earth Provision Co. and as a SNAP Program Intern at Texas Hunger Initiative from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Nicolas co-founded a real estate marketing company called 3D Virtual Space, where they served as a Co-Founder until 2017. During this time, they utilized 3D technology to capture and enhance interior spaces.

From 2016 to 2017, Nicolas worked as a Front House employee at Chi'Lantro. Nicolas then transitioned into freelance work as a UX/UI Designer, collaborating with various clients and companies, including Kwaddle, where they designed and edited web page content.

In 2018, Nicolas joined HotSchedules and Wellsmith Inc. as a UX/UI Designer, contributing to the design and development of their products. Nicolas continued their career as a UX/UI Designer at BadJupiter from 2019 to 2020.

Currently, Nicolas is working for MagicLinks as a Product Owner, utilizing their design expertise to guide and manage the product development process. Nicolas'swork experience spans across various industries and roles, highlighting their versatility and adaptability in the field of design.

Nicolas Loya has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Urban Studies from The University of Texas at Austin. Nicolas also has a Business Foundations Certificate from the Texas McCombs School of Business. Additionally, they completed the User Experience Design Immersive program at General Assembly. In terms of certifications, Nicolas obtained an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from the same institution in February 2021. Nicolas also holds a Remote Pilot License from the Federal Aviation Administration, which they obtained in January 2018.
