Ivan Akimov

Ivan Akimov has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and DevOps. Ivan is currently working at MAGIX Software GmbH Group as a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer since April 2023. Prior to this, Ivan worked at Know Your Customer from May 2017 to October 2022, where they held multiple roles. Ivan started as a Senior Software Developer and was responsible for developing new features, fixing bugs, and assisting junior developers. Later, they transitioned to a DevOps Engineer role, where they focused on creating CI/CD pipelines, managing databases, and solving availability issues. Eventually, Ivan became a Development Team Lead at Know Your Customer, where they managed a group of developers and participated in technical meetings with customers.

Before joining Know Your Customer, Ivan was a Full Stack Web Developer at DigitalSkynet from February 2015 to March 2017. Ivan worked on an energy management SAA web project, developing web solutions for business customers and implementing new features. Prior to that, Ivan worked as a Full Stack Web Developer at WebSailors from October 2013 to July 2014, where they worked on multiple projects using Node.js and MongoDB. Ivan also had a brief stint as a Full Stack Web Developer at Inostudio Solutions from April 2013 to September 2013, where they developed an intracorporate social network and gained experience in Agile methodology and customer requirements.

Ivan Akimov attended Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, High school № 30 from 1999 to 2009, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they enrolled at Southern Federal University (former Rostov State University) from 2009 to 2014. At the university, Ivan pursued a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Computer Programming.
