David Charlesworth

David Charlesworth is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in subsea technology and project management. Currently serving as the Head of Engineering at Magma Global Ltd since February 2014, David has previously held multiple roles at BP from 2007 to 2014, including Riser and Flowline Technical Authority, Discipline Lead for Risers, Flowlines & Turrets, and Subsea Riser Engineer. Prior to that, David worked as a Project Engineer to Engineering Manager at Deepsea Engineering & Management Limited from 2002 to 2007 and as a Software Engineer at Logica from 2000 to 2002. David holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering Management from The University of Manchester, a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics from UCL, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Newcastle University.
