Guilherme Vaz

Guilherme Vaz is a data scientist currently engaged in AI research and development at MC, focusing on innovative AI applications using tools such as Haystack and Langchain. With extensive experience in conversational AI and information retrieval technologies during internships at IT Labs and Synopsys Inc, Guilherme has also played a significant role in academia as a board member and coordinator of the pedagogical department at the Núcleo de Ciência de Computadores da Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, organizing events to enhance student training. Additionally, as a Magma Ambassador, Guilherme facilitates connections between campus communities and industry initiatives. Guilherme holds a Bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence and is pursuing a Master's degree in the same field at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
