Gerrit W. Ahrens is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in purchasing and supply chain management. Currently serving as Senior Manager Purchasing and Lead Buyer for Capex/Equipment Europe at Magna International since September 2010, Ahrens focuses on strategic purchasing and supplier relationship management. Previously, Ahrens held various roles at Magna Exteriors and DECOMA, including Purchase Manager and Team Leader for Supplier Quality Assurance. Ahrens also has a background as Principal Managing Partner at Micro Net GmbH, overseeing multiple facets of the business from product design to logistics. Ahrens earned a degree from Universität des Saarlandes between 1982 and 1988.
