Your Role This role reports to an Engineering Manager or Technical Manager and works within an agile team alongside other developers and testers to accomplish the Magnet Forensics mission.

What You Will Accomplish -Implement robust test strategies and create innovative exploratory testing -Determine suitable testing areas and coverage -Create, execute, and manage test plans, including both automated and manual tests -Design and implement testing tools and environments required to execute testing effectively and efficiently -May include deploying and operating software including production environments

What We Are Looking For We’re looking for someone who checks off most, but not all, of the boxes. It’s more important to us to find a candidate who can display indicators of success through skills they have developed and experience they have been a part of, than to find folks who have “been there, done that”. We want to be a part of your development journey, and we’ll learn as much from you as you learn from us. 

There are a couple must haves, but we will keep that list short: -Senior student enrolled in a in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related program -Experience with test automation and scripting is an asset -Experience with two or more of: -Test automation -Manual / Smoke / Regression / Behavioural testing -Performance testing and optimization -Reverse engineering -Distributed system testing -Security testing -CI/CD -Operating systems (at an advanced level) – Windows / Linux / Mac -Networking -Aptitude and interest in learning new technologies -Prioritizes team collaboration and success
