Alfred Chuang

Founder at Magnet Systems

Alfred Chuang is currently working as a General Partner at Race Capital, where they invest in and supports founders building transformative companies. In 2020, they also co-founded FoundersHK, a non-profit organization aimed at connecting and supporting Hong Kong founders. Prior to this, Chuang founded and served as the CEO of Magnet Systems, Inc. from 2011 to 2017. Alfred was also a General Partner at Ming LLC from 2008 to 2011. Chuang's extensive experience includes founding, chairing, and serving as CEO of BEA Systems, Inc. from 1994 to 2008. Alfred began their career at Sun Microsystems in various technology leadership and management positions from 1986 to 1994.

Alfred Chuang has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco. Alfred also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from UC Davis.
