Tao Liu

Tao Liu, Ph.D. has extensive experience in technical operations and research-related roles. Tao served as the Director of Technical Operations at Magnite, where they led onboarding and optimization strategies to increase publisher revenue. Prior to that, Tao worked as a Technical Services Manager at Adap.tv, a division of AOL Networks. Tao was also a Member of Technical Staff at Dialogic Media Lab, where they researched and designed real-time analytic solutions and led R&D projects. Additionally, Tao worked as a Research/Teaching Assistant at Polytechnic Institute of New York University, where they conducted research in image/video processing and published multiple technical papers. Tao also gained experience as an Intern Researcher at AT&T Labs-Research and as an Intern Researcher/Research Assistant at Technicolor, where they developed video quality models and analyzed human visual perception properties.

Tao Liu, Ph.D. obtained a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from New York University, completing the program from 2004 to 2009.
