Sushmita Maitra

Sushmita Maitra has a strong background in research and scientific roles. Sushmita is currently working as a Senior Research Scientist at Magnitude Biosciences Ltd since August 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Durham University from September 2013 to August 2020, where they held the positions of Postdoctoral researcher and Teaching Fellow. Before joining Durham University, they worked at the National Health Service as an Information Scientist from October 2011 to April 2013. Sushmita also has experience as a Research Associate at the Gurdon Institute from April 2007 to March 2010 and as a Research Associate at the University of Chicago from February 2005 to February 2007.

Sushmita Maitra obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. This education was acquired between the years 1993 and 2000.
