Christopher J. Sulek

Christopher J. Sulek has over 20 years of experience in the lighting industry. Christopher J. began their career in 2000 as a Technical Marketing employee for Lumileds Lighting. During their time there, they developed marketing collateral, technical documents, and application notes, gave design consultations and application support to the sales team, and developed and presented customer seminars. In 2005, they joined Acuity Brands as a Sales Representative, where they sold numerous lighting projects to customers such as municipalities, government entities, and retailers. In 2009, they moved to Lumenetix Inc. as a Product and Applications Manager, where they defined product specifications for tunable white LED modules and planned controls interface and IoT strategy for tunable white modules. In 2014, they joined Leotek Electronics USA LLC as the Marketing Team Leader, where they developed value propositions and product requirements for LED roadway and utility lighting products. In 2020, they joined W-Trans as an Infrastructure IoT Consultant, where they were responsible for specification development and vendor evaluation of transportation IoT systems. Christopher J. Sulek is currently the Director of Product Management at Magnitude Lighting, a position they have held since 2022.

Christopher J. Sulek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Christopher J. is currently enrolled in a Professional Development Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Additionally, they have earned an Extension Campus Certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz in IoT Data Analytics and UX Design.
