Scotty Powers

Scotty Powers has a diverse range of work experience in the oil and gas industry. Scotty started their career as a Snubbing Operator at Global Pressure Control/IPS in 2003, and then moved to Cudd Pressure Control as a Snubbing Operator in 2007. In 2008, they joined Great White Pressure Control as a Snubbing Supervisor, where they oversaw all snubbing operations and ensured safety. Scotty continued in this role until 2012, when they helped start a new company called Snubco USA, where they served as a Snubbing Supervisor and was responsible for well control during snubbing operations. In 2013, they became a Completions Consultant at EQT Corporation and later started their own company, Balance Point Energy Consulting, LLC, in the same year.

Scotty then moved on to work at RKI Exploration and Production, LLC as a Workover / Completions Consultant from 2014 to 2015. Scotty joined Redhawk Pressure Control in 2015 as a Snubbing Supervisor and led all snubbing operations. In 2017, Scotty worked as a Workover/Completions Consultant at both Surge Energy America and Magnolia Oil & Gas. In these roles, they managed large teams, oversaw operations, ensured safety, controlled costs, and prepared reports. Scotty handled well control and performed various remedial work, including running packers and tubing.

Overall, Scotty Powers has extensive experience in workover/completions consulting, snubbing operations, and management within the oil and gas industry.

Scotty Powers received their high school diploma in General Studies from Comanche High School, where they attended from 1999 to 2002. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Well Control from Wild Well in August 2020.
