Rebecca Bernstein M.D.

Rebecca Bernstein MD has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Rebecca currently works as the Medical Director of Continuing Professional Development and Internal Medicine Faculty at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC), a position they started in July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Hospitalist Physician at Mission Health from October 2008 to September 2020. Rebecca also served as a Medical Resident specializing in Primary Care/Social Medicine at Montefiore Health System from 2005 to 2008. Before pursuing their medical career, they worked as a Box Office Manager and Development Associate at HERE Arts Center from 1998 to 2001.

Rebecca Bernstein MD received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theatre and Drama from Indiana University Bloomington in 1996. Rebecca then went on to attend the University of Minnesota from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. In 2005, they completed their medical education at New York Medical College, earning their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
