Jayson Watts

Jayson Watts currently serves as the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Mahi Pono since November 2019. Previously, Jayson held various roles within the State of Hawaii from December 2003 to November 2019, including Special Assistant to the Director of the Hawaii Department of Labor & Industrial Relations, Senior Advisor to the Lieutenant Governor, Assistant Sergeant at Arms of the Hawaii State Senate, and Legislative Director for the Senate Majority Caucus Leader and Chair of the Senate Ways & Means Committee. Earlier experience includes positions as a Personal Aide/Staff Assistant and Congressional Intern for Congresswoman Patsy T. Mink during the 106th and 107th Congresses. Jayson earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and holds a high school diploma from H. P. Baldwin High School.
