Pawan Nagla

Pawan Nagla has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pawan started their career in 2000 as a Branch Manager at GMAC Financial Services India Ltd., where they managed sales, credit, collections, and legal aspects of auto loans.

Pawan then worked at ICICI Bank LTD as an Area Sales Manager for Personal Loans, responsible for corporate channels in Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Baroda, and Rajkot. Pawan also managed retail vertical in Central Gujarat.

After that, they joined Barclays Bank as an Area Sales Manager, handling personal loan sales in the assigned area through direct and indirect sales channels.

At Barclays Private Bank, Pawan worked as an Area Collection Manager, overseeing the collection of delinquent accounts for personal loan, business loan, and credit cards in Gujarat.

Pawan then moved on to Barclays, where they served as the State Head Collections for Gujarat. In this role, they were responsible for collections of personal loans, business loans, and credit cards for Barclays Bank and Barclays Finance.

In 2013, Pawan joined HDB Financial Services Ltd. as a Cluster Manager and later served as a Branch Manager.

Pawan's next career move was to Bajaj Finserv, where they held various positions such as Regional Sales Manager, managing the West Region of India, and Zonal Sales Manager for the West and South Zones. Pawan also served as the National Sales Manager, overseeing prime markets and managing sales finance of mobiles, laptops, and tablets.

Currently, Pawan is working at Mahindra Finance as an Associate Senior Vice President and Business Head for Consumer Loans. Pawan is responsible for strategizing and setting up a digital-first and customer-centric consumer loans business. Their role includes product development, sales and distribution strategy, and ensuring prudent risk management practices.

Pawan Nagla earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the Institute of Management Studies from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree in Commerce from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya from 1993 to 1996. Their secondary education was completed at Sri Vaishnav Higher Secondary School from 1989 to 1993, where they studied Commerce, Economics, and Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Pawan Nagla obtained a Chartered Financial Analyst certification from the CFA Institute in June 2011.
