Orlando Vargas

Orlando Vargas has a comprehensive work experience in software development and architecture.

Orlando started their career as a Console Operator and Help-desk at Mapfre La Seguridad in Venezuela from January 1997 to October 1999.

From November 2000 to November 2003, they worked as a Software Developer Junior at B2SCorp, where they developed websites for Consecomercio, Pide2.com startup, and Telcel Bellsouth Venezuela.

Orlando then joined WAUMOVIL S.A. in November 2003 as a Software Development Manager. There, they designed and implemented a platform for handling short text messaging and payment solutions, resulting in high revenue and operational cost savings. Orlando'stenure at WAUMOVIL lasted until July 2012.

Starting in August 2012, Orlando worked as a Lead Software Architect at Mahisoft. Here, they have worked on various projects, including designing and planning the migration of services from state-persisted to event-sourcing, designing architecture based on microservice, developing microservices for contract management, creating an orchestration service for contract processing, and developing components for manipulating Word Documents. Orlando'swork at Mahisoft is current and ongoing.

Orlando Vargas began their education in 1993 at Colegio Universitario Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín, where they pursued a degree in T.S.U. Informática with a focus on Desarrollo y Diseños de Sistemas. Orlando completed this program in 1997. Following their bachelor's degree, Orlando attended Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín from 1998 to 2000, where they pursued a degree in System Engineering. Orlando successfully completed this program as well.
