Shams Noorani has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They started their career as a Graduate Student Research Assistant/Graduate Student Instructor at the University of Michigan in 2007, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Consulting CFD Engineer at Icon CFD. In 2011, they joined Delphi as an Analytical Engineer and stayed with the company until 2015. At Delphi, they gained expertise in analytical engineering. Since 2015, Shams Noorani has been with MAHLE, where they have held various roles. They started as a Product/Analytical Engineer - HVAC Functional Development and worked until 2016. From 2016 to 2021, they served as a Sr. Product Engineer - Team Lead. In 2021, they became the Head of Product Design and Simulation - HVAC Module (Automotive) and transitioned to the role of Head of Product Development, Design & Simulation - HVAC Module (Automotive) in 2022.

Shams Noorani received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical (Production) Engineering from Osmania University from 2002 to 2006. Shams later pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, completing it from 2007 to 2011.
