Professor Ir. Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Samad

Professor Ir. Dr. Abdul Aziz Abdul Samad, FAPM, currently serves as the Director for Research Innovation & Enterprise and Professor at MAHSA University since January 2022. With extensive experience in civil engineering and academia, positions have included Deputy Dean at The Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Principal Journal Editor for the Journal of the Institution of Engineers Malaysia, and Academic Editor for Hindawi Publishing's Advances in Civil Engineering. Prior roles encompass significant leadership positions at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia and extensive teaching and research engagements at various institutions including The University of Melbourne and Universiti Putra Malaysia. Abdul Aziz's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from The University of Manchester, a Master’s degree from the University of Strathclyde, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Glasgow.
