Ama Mathewos

Ama Mathewos has a diverse work experience that spans multiple healthcare organizations. Ama is the Founder & Owner of Evolve Lead Succeed since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Maimonides Medical Center as the Director of Nursing, Magnet Program starting from June 2021. Ama also held various roles at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, including Patient Care Director for the Med/Surg Unit from May 2015 to June 2021, RN Quality Management Coordinator for Bone Marrow Transplant from October 2013 to May 2015, and Registered Nurse for Med/Surg and Hem/Onc from November 2007 to October 2013.

Ama Mathewos has a diverse education history. In 2002-2007, they attended the University of Florida where they earned a Bachelor of Health Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From 2013-2015, they studied at New York University and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management. In addition to their degrees, Ama Mathewos has obtained several certifications, including being a Certified Coach from Coach Training Alliance, and a Nurse Executive Advanced (NEA-BC) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
