Amritha Krishnamoorthy

Amritha Krishnamoorthy is currently serving as a Neurology Resident at NYU Langone Health since July 2024 and as a Volunteer Research Assistant at Maimonides Medical Center, focusing on stroke research under Dr. Qingliang Tony Wang. Previously, Amritha completed an internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where responsibilities included evaluating patients and developing treatment plans. Additional experience includes a clinical externship at The Neurology Partners of Hudson County PA, which involved hands-on training and observing neurological procedures, as well as externships and trainee roles in various hospitals with a focus on neurology and internal medicine. Amritha holds an Epilepsy/EEG Certificate from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and a Certificate in Pain and Palliative Care Management from the Trivandrum Institute of Palliative Sciences, alongside an MBBS degree from Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre.
