William Choi

William Choi is currently a Volunteer Research Assistant at UCSF Health and has been active in multiple volunteer roles, including at Alameda Health System and Imago Dei Clinic, where responsibilities involve leadership in outreach efforts for homeless populations. William serves as an Undergraduate Researcher at UC San Francisco's Dean Lab, focusing on metagenomics and immunoproteomics, and has previously worked on culturing Staphylococcus strains. As a Fung Fellow, William engages in health and innovation projects at UC Berkeley, and has also contributed as a mentor through The Sage Mentorship Project. William's educational journey includes studies at the University of California, Berkeley, expected to complete in 2025, following a high school diploma from Leland High School in 2021.
