Andrea Boyle Tippett, M.S.J., M.B.A. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Andrea is currently working as the Associate Vice President for Communications at Main Line Health since October 2022. Prior to this, Andrea served as an Executive Committee Member & Section Secretary/Historian at Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) starting from January 2016.

From October 2013 to October 2022, they worked at the University of Delaware in various roles. Andrea served as the Senior Director, External Relations, where they were responsible for reputation management and enhancement. During their tenure, they significantly increased positive press coverage and gained coverage that contributed to a high institutional favorability rating.

At the University of Delaware, Andrea also worked as an Adjunct Instructor from September 2019 to December 2021, where they taught a course focused on college success. Additionally, they served as the National Media Relations Coordinator from September 2008 to October 2013, where they built up the media relations operation and redesigned the university's experts website.

Before joining the University of Delaware, Andrea worked as a Reporter/Producer at WHYY from October 2005 to September 2008, where they were the lead reporter and made editorial decisions for a television program. Prior to that, they worked as a Reporter/Videographer at WPTZ/WNNE from April 2004 to October 2005. In this role, they generated ideas, reported, videotaped, and edited daily stories for broadcast on an NBC affiliate. Andrea also anchored a nightly segment.

Andrea Boyle Tippett has a diverse education background. Andrea began their academic journey in 1998 at the University of Delaware, where they obtained an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication & History in 2002. Andrea later attended Northwestern University in 2003-2004, earning a Master of Science in Journalism with a focus on Broadcast Journalism. In 2009-2013, they returned to the University of Delaware to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Andrea has also obtained additional certifications, including a Leadership Development Program from the Center for Creative Leadership in 2013 and a Building Connection and Engagement in Virtual Teams certification from LinkedIn in 2022.
