Joe Freitas

Joe Freitas began their work experience in 1991 as part of the Financial Leadership Program at Cigna. In 2000, they joined The Hanover Insurance Group and held various senior leadership positions, including Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Commercial Lines. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Chief Executive Officer. In 2017, they were promoted to Senior Vice President, responsible for Business Performance and Financial Planning & Analysis. In 2019, they became the Chief Financial Officer at The Main Street America Group. Prior to their insurance career, Joe was a Teacher/Coach at Marlboro Public Schools from 1990 to 2001.

Joe Freitas attended Bentley University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
