Kevin Cormier

Kevin Cormier has extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Kevin started their career at Liberty Mutual Group US in 1999 as an Actuary and worked there until 2015. During their time at Liberty Mutual, they held various roles including Senior Actuary & Manager - Financial Reporting, Senior Actuary & Manager Reinsurance, and Regional Managing Actuary for Europe.

In 2015, Cormier joined Liberty Insurance Ireland as the Chief Actuary, where they were responsible for Capital, Rate, Reinsurance, and Reserve adequacy. After two years, in 2017, they moved to Liberty Seguros (Spain) as the Chief Actuary, overseeing the Actuarial Function for combined operations in Spain, Portugal, and Ireland. In this role, they were responsible for Analytics, Capital, Data Governance, Reinsurance, Reserves, and Solvency II.

Most recently, Cormier joined The Main Street America Group in 2020 as the Vice President and Head of Reserving and Reinsurance. Unfortunately, specific dates are not provided for some of their roles.

Kevin Cormier has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Actuarial Science from St. John's University. Kevin also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University - Newark. In addition, they have obtained a certification in "Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy" from MIT Sloan Executive Education in December 2018.
