Charlotte Mace is an experienced professional in business development and sustainability with a robust background in public service and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of the Office of Business Development at the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development since April 2019, Charlotte also acts as State Program Manager for the Northern Border Regional Commission and holds board memberships with the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority and the Maine Venture Fund. Previously, Charlotte was the Executive Director of Biobased Maine, promoting renewable biomass applications, and worked as a consultant in Mace Sustainability Consulting, focusing on sustainability projects for various clients. Charlotte has academic credentials including a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry with a Coordinate Degree in Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. in Sustainable Business from the University of Southern Maine. Additionally, Charlotte contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern Maine.
