Bronwyn Wolfgang has a diverse work experience. Bronwyn started in 2007 as a Research Fellow at the Phoenix Australia - Centre for Posttraumatic Mental Health, managing grants and donations and delivering large-scale evaluations. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Freelance Writer, developing proposals, writing academic articles, and opinion pieces on food accessibility and health. Bronwyn then joined the Victorian Department of Health, where they held various roles, including Senior Policy Officer, Manager of Legislation Reform and Investigations, and Director of the Private Hospitals Branch, overseeing the COVID-19 response in the private health sector. In 2021, they worked as a Consultant at The Immersion Lab. In 2022, they became a Founding Member of Perma Leadership, contributing to the development of a new organizational leadership framework. Currently, they are the Director of Operations Transformation | Mountain Region and the Director of Strategic Planning and Operational Excellence at MaineHealth.

Bronwyn Wolfgang holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature, General/German from Dickinson College, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Bronwyn then pursued further education in Psychology at Heidelberg University, earning a Bachelor's degree from 1996 to 2000. Next, they attended Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a Diplom Psychologie degree. Bronwyn continued their academic journey at the University of Melbourne, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from 2003 to 2007. Most recently, in 2021, Bronwyn has studied at the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership.
