Kirk Daulerio

Co-Founder & Chief Evangelist at Mainstay

Kirk Daulerio is the co-founder and chief evangelist of Mainstay, a student engagement platform powered by AI and behavioral science. Kirk has been with Mainstay for 8 years, and in that time has helped it grow into a leading solution for student success. Prior to Mainstay, Kirk served as the director of member relations for The Common Application, and the associate dean of admissions at Bowdoin College. Kirk also spent 3 years as the director of college counseling at SportsChallenge Leadership Academy, and 2 years as the director of college counseling at Gould Academy. In their role as regional director of admissions at University of Pennsylvania, Kirk oversaw the recruitment and admission of students from across the country. Kirk also served as the director of athletics at The Agnes Irwin School, and spent a year as an admission officer at Princeton University. Kirk began their career in student affairs as an intern at The Wharton School, and went on to serve as the associate head/ assistant basketball coach at Swarthmore College for 3 years. Kirk also spent a year playing professional basketball for the Newcastle Hunters. Throughout their career, Kirk has been committed to helping students reach their full potential and find success in higher education.

Kirk Daulerio attended Swarthmore College from 1991 to 1995, where they earned a B.A. in Psychology. Kirk then attended the University of Pennsylvania, where they earned an M.S. Ed. in Higher Education in 1998 and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration in 1999.
