Bea Ludwig, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Human Resources Manager at Mainstreet Credit Union since August 2023. Previously, Bea held the position of Sr. HR Manager - Employee Relations at Foley Equipment, overseeing employee relations for Kansas and western Missouri. As Director of Regional Distribution Human Resources at Smithfield Foods from December 2017 to October 2022, Bea was part of the national HR leadership team, managing HR operations across multiple non-union distribution centers and driving corporate initiatives. With earlier roles including Human Resources Manager at Arctic Glacier Premium Ice, Assistant Director of Business Services at the University of Kansas, and various HR positions at companies such as Best Brands Corp. and Kaiser Permanente, Bea brings extensive human resources expertise, particularly in employee relations and distribution center management. Bea earned a BA in Psychology from The University of Kansas.

By 1962, the CU moved from a classroom in the Shawnee Mission School District to a rented office with one manager and two part-time employees.
