Shawn Rousseau

Shawn Rousseau is a seasoned Senior Data Engineer with extensive experience in data architecture and optimization. Currently working at MaintainX since July 2024, Shawn previously held the same title at Sharethrough from October 2020 to July 2024, where significant contributions included the design of Snowflake architecture which resulted in over $1M in cost savings and improvements in team training through mentorship. Additionally, Shawn's role at Sharethrough featured leading major refactoring initiatives post-merger that enhanced the data warehouse and its integration with Looker. With previous experience as a Data Engineer at Behaviour Interactive and a business development role at Twinword, Shawn’s career began in technical support at Shaw Direct and sales at HEC Montréal. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Technology Management from Concordia University, along with minors in Computer Science and Political Science, and a background in Social Sciences with a focus on Criminology.
