Pilar Fernandez

Pilar Fernandez has worked as the Human Resources Director at MAINWAY Metalworks since February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at HTS Engineering - Heat Transfer Solutions from December 2017 to February 2023, holding various roles including Human Resources Business Manager, Employee Relations Leader, and Executive Assistant to CFO/Principal. From April 2014 to December 2017, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at Southland Holdings LLC.

Pilar Fernandez obtained a Business- Human Resources Diploma with a major in HR and a minor in Business from Sheridan College in the years 2012-2014. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including a Workplace Investigations certificate program from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association in 2023, and a Ceridian Qualified Professional WFM Plus certification from Ceridian in 2022. Pilar has also completed various courses and masterclasses related to change leadership, mental health, employee performance, and strategic human resources, among others.
