Alix Duffour is the current Chief Communications Officer and co-founder at Maison Duffour. Alix previously worked as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer at Checkout.com from September 2017 to June 2020. During their time there, they helped the company grow from 150 employees to over 900 employees and closed two major fundraises (Serie A $230k and Serie B $150k) in less than a year.
As the main point of contact between the CEO, the team, and external stakeholders, they managed an exceptionally busy and changing diary, coordinated internal and external meetings across global time zones, arranged international business trips for the CEO, and prepared comprehensive trip itineraries as well as meeting preps. In 2019 alone, they helped coordinate more than 100 trips around the world. Alix also liaised with the press and ensured CEO press materials were up to date, managed company-wide projects such as yearly team trips, and worked with strict confidentiality and discretion in all matters.
Alix Duffour has a master's degree in International Commercial Law from Université Paris Nanterre, a master's degree in Tourism Management and Marketing of Services from OMNES Education, and a master's degree in International Law from the University of Rajasthan. Alix also has a faculty diploma in English Common Law from the Institute of Comparative Law of Lyon 3 and a bachelor's degree in Private Law from Université Jean Moulin (Lyon III). Alix is certified by Coursera in Data-driven Decision Making.
