Darcie Wilson has a background in education and project management. Darcie began their career as a Project Manager at Great Plains Communications Service & Supply Inc. in 2013 and held that position until 2018. In 2015, they transitioned to Andale High School as an Assistant Softball Coach, a role they held until 2019. In the same year, Darcie joined Maize USD 266 as the Head Softball Coach and also worked as a 4th Grade Teacher.

Darcie Wilson has a diverse education history. In 1995, they obtained an Associate's Degree in General Studies from Pratt Community College. From 1997 to 1998, they attended Northwest Missouri State University, where they studied Softball, although no degree was specified. In 2008, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management at Friends University, which they completed in 2010. Recently, in 2018, Darcie Wilson continued their education at Friends University, earning a Master of Education (MEd) degree with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching.
