Marjani Knighten

Marjani Knighten is currently the Head Softball Coach at the University of San Diego, a position held since September 2019, where responsibilities include program initiation, recruiting, scheduling, and training while adhering to NCAA/WCC and university regulations. Previously, Marjani served as an Assistant Softball Coach at the same institution, focusing on athlete recruitment and development. Experience also includes a role as a Softball Graduate Assistant at Wichita State University, where Marjani contributed to individual and team performance through instruction and motivation for 18 student-athletes. Additionally, Marjani has worked in broadcasting as a Producer and Broadcaster at Star City News and interned as a Broadcast Intern with the State Games of America. Marjani holds a Master's degree in Sport Management from Wichita State University and a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
