Lara Brewer

Lara Brewer has a long and varied work experience. Lara began as a Senior Consultant at Axon Medical in 2001. In 2011, they became a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Utah. In 2014, they founded Majelco Medical, Inc. and also became the Director At Large and Member of the Board of Directors at the Society for Technology in Anesthesia. In 2022, they were elected President of the Society for Technology in Anesthesia.

Lara Brewer obtained their Bachelor of Arts - BA from St. Olaf College in Chemistry, Biology and German. Lara then went on to pursue their Master of Science (M.S.) in Bioengineering from the University of Utah, which they completed in 2001. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Bioengineering from the University of Utah in 2011.
