Shailesh Mehrotra

Shailesh Mehrotra has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Shailesh started their career as a Faculty Lecturer at Ujjain Engineering College from 1991 to 1992. Shailesh then worked as a Senior Systems Analyst at Tata Consultancy Services from 1994 to 1997, where they provided technical leadership and managed application development services for various clients. Later, they joined Ernst & Young in 1998 as an Associate Director, Global IT, where they led mission-critical global enterprise solutions and played a pivotal role in defining and delivering key technical roadmaps and initiatives.

In 2010, Shailesh joined Cover-All Technologies as the SVP of Product Management & Technology, P&C Insurance | Data & Analytics. During their tenure, they spearheaded the successful launch of flagship products and played a crucial role in the merger process with Majesco, contributing to the company's award-winning offerings. Shailesh also led the creation of data and analytics products with enterprise-grade capabilities.

In 2015, Shailesh joined Majesco as the SVP of Product Management & Technology, P&C Insurance | Data & Analytics. Shailesh led the cross-functional product team in developing an award-winning Property & Casualty Insurance Suite and played a key role in defining the product vision, strategy, and technology. Shailesh also instituted contemporary product management processes and enhanced collaboration and speed-to-market for overall strategy and product features.

During their time at Majesco, Shailesh held multiple executive roles, including SVP Global Cloud Engineering & Operations, Majesco SaaS Offerings, where they established a long-term public cloud strategy and executed a multi-year technical roadmap on Microsoft Azure. Shailesh also led initiatives focused on engineering, security, performance, and certification to ensure secure and reliable SaaS operations.

In 2019, Shailesh became the SVP & GM, Global Support at Majesco, where they provided senior leadership and support to customers. More recently, in 2021, they took on the role of SVP Product Management & Engineering, Data & Analytics, where they articulated the strategic business outlook and roadmap in collaboration with various departments and delivered innovative insurance data analytics and AI SaaS products.

Throughout their career, Shailesh has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on driving productivity, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Shailesh has a proven track record of successfully leading and transforming organizations in the insurance and IT industries.

Shailesh Mehrotra holds a Masters degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelors degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Shri G S Institute of Technology & Science in 1990.
