Mike Ward, CWE, CSS, CS, WSET L3 Wine, has a diverse work experience in the beverage industry. Mike started their career in 2000 as General Manager at Remy's Kitchen & Wine Bar, where they gained valuable experience in managing the operations of a wine bar. In 2003, they joined Major Brands as a State Wine Educator, where they shared their expertise and knowledge about wines with others. Mike continued in this role until 2015. In 2014, they co-founded Ward on Wine, an independent wine consultancy. In 2017, they became a Guest Lecturer at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where they shared their knowledge and passion for wine with students. In 2018, they joined Breakthru Beverage Missouri as the Director Of Learning and Development, where they focus on training and development initiatives.
