Neeshad Shafi

Neeshad Shafi is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Senior Non-Resident Fellow at the Middle East Institute Switzerland and a Non-Resident Scholar at the Middle East Institute. In addition to these roles, Neeshad Shafi is an Agents of Change Youth Fellow at The Wilson Center, a member of the Middle East Working Group at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and an International Strategy Fellow at SilverLining. As a co-founder of the Arab Youth Climate Movement Qatar, Neeshad Shafi actively contributes to climate initiatives and serves as a Steering Committee Chair for CoalitionWILD. With an educational background that includes a Master of Engineering in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Neeshad Shafi has also held various ambassadorial roles and executive positions within organizations focusing on climate action and youth engagement.
