Oumnia Anfer

Oumnia Anfer currently serves as the Secretary of the YoU-CAN Network at UNESCO, representing the African Youth Climate Hub. In dual roles, Oumnia is a Climate Action Champion at UNICEF Middle East and North Africa, collaborating on national environmental education curriculum and stakeholder mapping. As an Ambassador for the African Youth Climate Hub, Oumnia participates in the Steering Committee for the Children & Youth Pavilion at COP28. Additionally, Oumnia is the National Focal Point for UN1FY and is involved with the Major Group for Children and Youth, contributing to global policy initiatives. Oumnia is a student physician at the Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie de Casablanca while also engaging with various organizations in climate and health advocacy roles. Oumnia's education includes pursuing a Doctorate in Medicine and an Associate's degree in Care of Populations at Wichita State University.
