Saher Rashid Baig

Saher Rashid Baig currently serves as the Regional Focal Point for Europe for SDG11 at Major Group for Children and Youth, a position held since February 2023. Baig has extensive experience within YOUNGO, including roles as Contact Point for the Nationally Determined Contribution Working Group, as well as the Human Rights working group. Additional responsibilities include serving as Liaison for the virtual conference of youth (vCOY) and Contact Point since January 2019. Saher also contributes as a Markmaker at the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live and was previously the Campaign Coordinator for Mock COP. Baig's background in SDG initiatives is complemented by a current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and European Politics at Masaryk University Brno.
