Amanda D'Avria

Senior Director, Fellowship at Major League Hacking

Amanda D'Avria has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. Amanda began their career in 2005 as a Master Teacher for Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, where they taught a suite of test-prep courses and designed and helped develop curriculum and events. Amanda then became Center Manager and Academic Director at the same company, where they managed teams of Faculty Managers and teachers. In 2012, they joined Success Academy Charter Schools as a Teacher Development Manager, where they planned, facilitated, and executed teacher professional development for 500+ teachers. In 2013, they began working at iMentor as the Director of Volunteers, where they were responsible for setting strategy and leading the Volunteer team. In 2015, they joined Flatiron School as an Admissions Manager, where they managed student admissions for their immersive programs. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Major League Hacking as a Senior Director, taking on roles in Fellowship, Fellow Success, and Head of Fellowship Admissions.

Amanda D'Avria obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Music (Double Major) from Dickinson College. Amanda then went on to pursue an MBA in Management from NYU Stern School of Business.
