Dimitrina Kirova has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Dimitrina began their career as an Assistant Store Manager at Vis a Vis in 2007 and later worked as a Jewelry Sales Assistant and Website Manager at The Squash Blossom from 2009 to 2012. In 2010, Dimitrina also worked as a Piano and Voice Instructor at Sera Schools, where they focused on meeting students' needs in music instruction.
Moving to the transportation industry, Dimitrina joined Max Freight Inc as a Dispatcher in 2012. Besides dispatching freight shipments, they also organized and delivered training for a new dispatch team in Bulgaria.
In 2013, Dimitrina worked as a Customer Service and Administration Specialist at The Airliner Group, where they excelled in sales and eventually transitioned to a back-office support role. This position allowed their to gain further knowledge about the travel and holiday business.
In 2014, Dimitrina joined Reward Gateway, starting as a Client Support Specialist before progressing to a Client Support Manager role. In this capacity, they managed a team responsible for providing technical support to over 400 clients globally. Dimitrina also played a strategic role in contract management and team training events. Dimitrina eventually transitioned to roles focusing on learning and development, becoming the Head of Learning and then the Head of People and Learning. In 2023, they assumed the role of Head of People Operations, demonstrating their expertise in people and talent management.
Dimitrina Kirova obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Music Pedagogy from the Academy of Music, Dance and Visual Arts in Plovdiv, from 1999 to 2003. Dimitrina later pursued a Certificate Program in English from the College of DuPage, from 2004 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications in various areas such as interviewing for diversity and inclusion, hiring employees, GDPR, coaching and developing employees, and learning and development essentials.
